Mr Andrew Phillips

Over 30 years’ commercial, financial and corporate governance experience internationally. Mr Phillips was a founding director of LPI  and jointly led the IPO of LPI in June 2016. He was instrumental in the acquisition and disposal of LPI’s assets in Chile, Western Australia, and Argentina over the past eight years, and is retained as a Director of LPI following the scheme of arrangement with Codelco and subsequent de-listing.

Mr Phillips previously held senior management and board positions in several public and multinational companies including Aristocrat, Allianz, Hoya Lens and Sequoia Financial Group and has additional board experience in the ASX small cap sector. He also has an established Corporate Advisory practice providing advise and support to international companies that wish to enter the Australian market.

Civil Engineer (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile). Senior executive with 30 years of experience in the mining industry in Chile (lithium, copper, iodine, potassium and nitrates). Leading commercial and operational areas, business and project development, M&A negotiations and asset valuations. Board member of lithium, copper, gold and exploration companies in Chile. He was formerly Senior Vice President of Lithium Operations in the Salar de Atacama and Senior Vice President of Iodine Operations, both with SQM. He is currently Head of Business Development for Codelco and Chairman of Minera Salar Blanco S.A.

Mr Ian Pyman AM

Ian’s experience is in the corporate and commercial fields. He has advised and acted for a wide range of private companies, unlisted public companies, statutory corporations and educational and research institutions in diverse industries, as well as the directors and senior executives of various organisations regarding their personal obligations and liabilities. The breadth of his practice has required Ian to advise on a variety of business-critical issues and to take an active role in the development of business plans and information memoranda. He has also conducted due diligence programs and consulted on corporate governance issues and other strategic business matters.
